Back in 2007, LWMF took an extraordinary trip to South Africa to work with the Sithabile Child & Youth Care Center (SC & YCC) and Sedibeng Sa Bophelo on a variety projects. LWMF will be going back again in September 2010 with an even greater charter. We will be purchasing school supplies and hygiene items, handing it out to the kids, getting them prepared for the school year. Sithabile is a Zulu word meaning “we are happy”.

Now the Fun ends and the work begins
Although the first few days have been awesome and our friends have been such gracious hosts, now we have to work. We had to get an early start to purchase school and hygiene supplies. We spent most of the day shopping at Makro. It's like the Costco of South Africa. The shopping was totally worth it. Here are a few pictures of our long day of shopping. More to come later.
