Back in 2007, LWMF took an extraordinary trip to South Africa to work with the Sithabile Child & Youth Care Center (SC & YCC) and Sedibeng Sa Bophelo on a variety projects. LWMF will be going back again in September 2010 with an even greater charter. We will be purchasing school supplies and hygiene items, handing it out to the kids, getting them prepared for the school year. Sithabile is a Zulu word meaning “we are happy”.

Zebras are just the coolest
Again it was one of those things where we were driving along, our guide again expressing how determined he was that we see lions. He comes to a screeching halt then casually says "oh, some zebras." We look to our right and there are about 10 of them. Male, female, pregnant females, young ones. One of them was kind enough to appear as if it was posing for our best national geographic effort at a photo.
